On day 40 of my Final Fantasy Marathon, I started New Game+ playthrough of Ceodore’s Tale. Today, I’m continuing that playthrough.

As expected, the Hooded Man mows down just about everything. I know some people choose to kill him off so Ceodore get’s more EXP and the Hooded Man doesn’t gain too many levels before he transitions to Kain, but I feel like that is gilding the lily.

I picked up a Coral Sword for Ceodore in the Ancient Waterway that I think I missed the first time. Other than that, nothing much to report, other than oddly, it still tells you, you learned the story-driven bands even when you already have them.

I finished this short session just before the Hooded Man and Ceodore flee to the fucking Underground Waterway. I quit and saved at two hours and three minutes into Ceodore’s Tale.
