On day 42 of my Final Fantasy Marathon, I finished my New Game+ playthrough of Rydia’s Tale. Today, I’m starting a New Game+ playthrough of Yang’s Tale.

Today’s Progress

I only used Yang in his own Tale the first time. He comes into this one at level 23. He has the level three Twin Wing Frenzy, max level Five Star Crimson Palm, and level one Oboro Strike bands.

I also only used Ursula during this tale the first time. She starts this one at level 21 and has the level four Twin Wing Frenzy, max level Five Star Crimson Palm, and level one Twin Rush bands.

They don’t dominate the competition as thoroughly as their peers who saw more playtime in the first playthrough, but they still handle the enemies pretty easily. Their Twin Wing Frenzy Band makes short work of Kain, not that it matters (grrrr).

I wrap up the session at one hour and 16 minutes into the Tale, finishing just after their ship lands on the Adamant Islands.
