On day 47 of my Final Fantasy Marathon, I started Kain’s Tale using my New Game+ save data from Ceodore’s Tale. Today, I’m finishing that tale.

Kain’s Tale

Hooded Man and Ceodore continued to plow their way through enemies, cruising to easy victories over the OctoKraken and Evil Kain. I finished up this tale and moved on to the Lunarians’ Tale.

Lunarians’ Tale

The New Game+ didn’t seem to affect the dream sequence battle between Cecil and Golbez, or maybe they were just equally matched. I used Golbez for part of my end-game party, until Cecil returns to his senses and then I swapped them out.

Golbez starts this tale at level 54 and has the level three Spiral Blow band. I was feeling sleepy, so I decided to call it a night at the save point on the B7 level of the Lunar Subterrane.
