On day 52 of my Final Fantasy marathon, I continued my New Game+ playthrough of the Crystals’ Tale. Today, I am finishing it.

The Crystals’ Tale part four

It took two attempts to get past Lunar Odin and Lunar Leviathan. I beat Lunar Bahamut on the first try, mostly because I had a nice stockpile of lunar and light curtains to use to reflect his megaflare back at him.

The final battle was maybe slightly more difficult than the first time, because I didn’t have any bands that used more than two people at a time, so I wasn’t able to hit for as much damage as with my first group.

I used Kain and Ceodore’s Double Jump band as my primary offensive weapon, with Rydia adding some Bahamut summons, Cid attacking, and Rosa healing the party. I got the job done on the first try and then saved on a new file, just in case.

However, it appears that if you load your save after beating the boss, it loads you in at the save point right before the boss battle. As a result, I can use this save file to load in my other groups and see how they fare against the end boss.
