On day 54 of my Final Fantasy Marathon, I beat the final boss using a party of Cecil, Ceodore, Rosa, Luca, and Ursula. Today, I will attempt to beat the boss with another party.

Destroying the creator part three

Today’s party features:

• Ceodore – level 67
• Cecil – level 66
• Yang – level 26
• Ursula – level 55
• Golbez – level 59

This is another party full of strong physical attackers and adds some moderately powerful black magic from Golbez. However, it lacks a dedicated healer, having only Cedore and Cecil’s moderate ability with white magic and Ursula’s Chakra ability to rely on.

I plan to approach this the same as last time. I will hunt tails while the party masters all of its band abilities.

Then, I’ll try to defeat the Creator. If needed, I’ll work on leveling up in the Depths.

As it turns out, I didn’t need to do any level building after mastering everyone’s bands. For the Creator fight, Cecil was level 69, Golbez level 61, Ceodore level 69, Ursula level 59, and Yang level 42. I wasn’t sure if the party would be able to withstand the final two iterations of the Creator without a white mage.

However, I was able to win the battle fairly easily by having whoever was alive toss X-potions and phoenix downs while Cecil and Ceodore loaded up for their Vibra Plus attack. While this group has several powerful bands, Vibra Plus still did the most damage at 99,999 per hit.

By comparison, Swords and Fists did 50k and change, while Advanced Blade did about 30k. Tomorrow, I’ll move on to my next group.
