On day 58 of my Final Fantasy marathon, I started a party with Rosa, Porom, Rydia, Leonora, and Palom. Today, I will be taking on the Creator with this party.
Destroying the Creator part seven

After mastering their bands, my party was at the following levels:
- Rosa – 80
- Porom – 59
- Rydia – 84
- Leonora – 46
- Palom – 72
For stages 1-3 of battling the Creator, I used their Infinity band, which required the whole group and did 30k-40k in damage. For the final stage, I had Rydia summoning Bahamut and Palom dualcasting Flare as my offense and the other three mages were on healing duty.
This made for a lengthy battle, but in the end, I came out on top. Next up, party number eight!
Party eight
This party consists of:
- Leonora – level 46
- Izayoi – level 22
- Rydia – level 84
- Rosa – level 80
- Harley – level 20
I expect this to be a fairly challenging party. Izayoi and Harley are pretty under leveled and I don’t anticipate even at higher levels they will be super useful. Leonora hasn’t really learned any high-level magic yet.
Rydia and Rosa are both badasses, but I don’t think they can pull off a victory on their own. When they mastered all their bands, they were at levels 51, 36, 85, 81, and 38.
I didn’t anticipate they would be victorious on their first attempt and they were not. None of their bands really do any worthwhile damage to the Creator.
That leaves Rydia’s Bahamut, Flare, and Meteor and Rosa’s Holy as the main offensive weapons. The first round is pretty easy, because the Creator doesn’t attack much.
I wasn’t sure they’d get through the second round, but I basically just left Izayoi, Harley, and Leonora for dead and had Rosa healing every round to deal with the Creator’s counter attacks, while Rydia took him down with her Meteor spell.
Unfortunately, the creator attacks much faster in the third round and also uses status effect spells that prevented this method from working. Tomorrow, I’ll work on leveling this party up in the hopes that eventually the other three party members can contribute something to the effort.
