On day 67 of my Final Fantasy marathon, I started a party with Zangetsu, Luca, Ursula, Porom, and Leonora. Today, I am using them to destroy the Creator.
Destroying the Creator part fifteen

When they finished mastering their bands, the party was at:
- Zangetsu – level 56
- Porom – level 72
- Ursula – level 70
- Leonora – level 69
- Luca – level 85
Petal Whirlwind was a disappointment. It did about 15k damage against the first version of the Creator, but did only 5k-8k against the other three, making it not worth using for this fight.
Fortunately, Luca and Zangetsu’s Mecha Kite was somewhat more useful, doing about 8k damage per turn. Leonora and Porom’s Sprite Bred did about 17k against version three of the Creator, but being a Holy attack was only useful against the 4th version if Holy was its weakness.
In the fourth round, I mostly attacked with Mecha Kite and Ursula’s regular physical attack. Ursula was able to do between 1,800 and 8k, depending on the Creator’s weakness and she is fast, allowing her to get a decent number of attacks in.
I used Porom and Leonora to keep the party alive for a moderately long fight that ultimately ended in victory. I had initially planned to do one more group including Edge, Luca, and Rydia.
However, they don’t have any additional bands to learn. I wanted to give them a chance to try out their previously learned bands.
However, lower-level bands are usually not very effective in the final boss fight. Additionally, I would most likely put Ceodore and Cecil in those two open spots and their Vibra Plus band almost ensures a victory.
As a result, I’m going to end this game here. Next up is Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster.
