Yesterday, my Final Fantasy Marathon left off with achieving class upgrades for my party. Today, I completed the following quests:

Restore the Water Crystal
Restore the Wind Crystal
Obtain Excalibur
Defeat Chaos

After eight days, that is officially it for Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster. There wasn’t a ton of difference playing with this party versus my first one.

The main difference was that because the Red Mage’s black magic isn’t as powerful as the black mage’s, I switched to the tactic of casting temper and haste on my fighters during boss battles earlier in the game. I finished this playthrough at seven hours and five minutes, making it about an hour and 40 minutes shorter than the first one.
